The Coats 6K Mid Rise Portable Scissor Lift is a free-standing, portable 6,000 lb capacity mid-rise scissor lift with rotating swing arms and rubber contact pads, a dolly/cart-mounted hydraulic power unit, and drop-in stacking height adapters. Coats publishes a 40" x 99 3/4" overall footprint with a 40" x 71 1/2" frame, 5 3/4" drive-over height, 54" lifting height, 30-second lift time and seven mechanical lock positions released by a motorcycle-style hand grip. Two part numbers cover the platform, differing only in power supply (110V 1 HP and 220V 2 HP, both 15 amp single phase). It suits shops with low ceilings, secondary or seasonal bays, wheel/brake/tire and body work on cars, SUVs and light trucks, where a permanently anchored two-post lift is not practical.
